Brockholes is a new kind of nature reserve,an unreserved reserve owned by The Wildlife Trust for Lancashire. Brockholes is an old quarry site and there are lots of amazing habitats to explore and wildlife to see. enjoy the experience of the floating visitor’s village. Brockholes is one of the best sites in the country for birds,in particular breeding waders. There is also a large variety of child centred activities throughout the summer holidays.
