We are a rural bed and breakfast close to the show ground for the infamous Chipping Steam Show. Enjoy the spectacle of steam traction engines, vintage tractors, vintage cars and second world war vehicles. The weather forecast looks extremely promising so why not combine a day at the show with a weekend away.

Now that it looks like Summer may be about to arrive, it is time to think about a short weekend break. We are only five miles from Junction 32 on the M6 yet in the heart of the Lancashire countryside. The area is ideal for country strolls or more energetic rambles, a nine hole round of golf or for the more adventurous gliding on the Bowland Fells. For the evenings we are only a short drive away from the Ribble Valley which is fast becoming one of the UK’s finest food destinations. Enjoy many of the local delicacies including Goosnargh Duck,Lancashire Hotpot and some of the finest cheese in the country not to mention a pint of deliciou Bowland beer
