Egg rolling has been a tradition in Avenham Park for hundreds of years. This year the tradition continues on Monday 21st April between 11.oo. and 16.00. there will be the usual Easter bonnet competition, live music ,street theatre, free workshops, children’s funfair, food and drink street vendors, a children’s funfair and much much more. The park itself is well worth a visit. Designed by Edward Milner in 1860 ( with a Green Flag award) it is one of the finest examples of traditional Victorian parkland in the North west.
