The Blackpool Illuminations Switch -On Festival Weekend is 29-31 August. You can register now for wristbands at visitblackpool.com/switchon. If you do not really want to be there for the switch on but are thinking about arranging a trip to view the illuminations in 2014 and do not really want to spend the whole weekend in Blackpool consider a weekend in the country. We are exactly 5 miles from junction 1 on the M55 and this is a 20 minutes drive from there into Blackpool itself. After enjoying the splendour of the lights you can then return to the peace and quiet of our lovely countryside. We have availability for several weekend in September and October.
